Well I have been thinking if I should paint first or get it running first? But I just bought a donor parts car with extra motor. Its a 89 GT and from what I saw when I looked at it it has extra parts on it that I dont need/want. Ill make a list of stuff I will take off and sell before it goes to the pic a partAttachment 125435Attachment 125436

I would part that car out after you have taken all you need. It is amazing how much the aero cars are worth in parts. I had a 90 GT vert that I bought 3 years ago as a roller, no motor or trans. The car was rear ended and not worth fixing but had a nice but slightly faded black interior. The kid I bought it from transplanted the drivetrain into his 66 coupe. I parted that car out and made a good return on that investment. I was surprised because I sold everything. Other cars I have parted I have always ended up with parts that nobody wants. That does not appear to be the case with the Aero cars. It took some time but it was well worth the effort. Good luck to you. I look forward to reading more about your project.

Never seen tribar wheels on a Capri. I’ll bet with some CobraR style treatment they would look killer......

    Looking good!

Hey, check this out. Ran across this and thought of you.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnnTgXkHU9Q

I didn't watch the whole thing, but I'm sure there's something there that can help you. I have a badshoe video on setting up a rear end, and he really knows his stuff!

And, this shows you how to repin. Easy stuff!

they were great video's, but what im running into is that when I found my capri some asswipe hacked out all the wires from the firewall. so I had to track down the wires from under the dash thru the firewall and on the otherside the ECU harness and the injector harness. I thought that I could use the 95 GT o2 sensor harness but thats off the auto GT parts car thats different, the ECU harness is 89-90 the injector harness is 88, the harness from dash to engine bay is 86 Thats one of the main problems im having (the 4 connectors are female) and there is no green connector by the ECU

It's one of the manuals for dealer techs. You might find them on Ebay or whatever. It's easier to take phone pics of the pages, so that's what I usually do. You want some?
