I just been building up my motor go faster parts pile as well as gathering up a complete cobra brake kit. just received the rear ground effects, installed and painted and re did the charcoal around the lights and plate as I was not happy with them. But now thinking of getting the 2 side effect parts and need to line up the rightside pipe Name: thumbnail (24).jpg

The only "ground effects" any RS ever had was the front air dam on the 84-86 RS models.

The Mustangs never had "ground effects" either except for the same front air dam on the 79 PC, 80-81 Cobra, and 82 GT. The 1987 GT models were the first production Ford Mustangs with "ground effects".

The 84-86 Saleen Mustangs had ground effect packages from Saleen obviously, but are not OEM Ford products.

Same kit that is going on my 82 GT when I finally get back on that project. Sorry to see I am not the only one with tail pipe fitment issues on the back. Have the same issue on my 86 GT Road Racer Saleen look alike.

My left side fit perfectly with no adjustments. The right side pushes against the rear valance and may require cutting the hanger off to fit properly.

Boost ratio is 1.61. You take your AFR headed 274 hp net and get 441 hp at the flywheel without even tryin'.

Greatest thing about the PowerDyne is the moderate, safe boost curve growth that wont over tax the chassis. Belt slip is the only enemy.

What a great choice of power adder.

You are in great company, aka

Holdener's personal 302 with a Vortech centrifugal supercharger which competed in 12 running's of the Silver State Challenge, where the engine would stay at WOT for 32 minutes. 440 horsepower at the rear wheels (over 500 at the crank).

Nice work. In the original version of IT by Stephen King, the Dewy Schmoey or whateverthe heck his name was often off loading a good joke. Joe, youve yet again gotten off a good one. Youve got a great habbit. Hope you never recover and keep doing it. Great Street Machining right there!

well I have not done much for a few months, but I found a hood scoop on e-slay, so I got it yesterday hit it with my sander and some 2K 1E silver and here it is. drilled the 8 holes (measure twice drill once) oh and I made the 2 fake vents work now, they really vent that bad hot air out now.

The scoop looks good painted body color, usually they are the trim gray. Have my 86 Capri at the paint shop now, wondering now if I should do the same?
Any info on how you made the vents functional?
