By far the best. Best chicken, ever.
As far as cars, not so much.
1983 Mustang G.T. No-option stripper- I like strippers.
5.0, GT40P heads, Comp Cams XE270HR-12 on 1.6 rockers, TFI spring kit, Weiand 174 blower, Holley 750 mechanical secondarys, Mishimoto radiator, Edelbrock street performer mechanical pump, BBK shortys, T-5 conversion, 8.8 rear, 3.73 gears, carbon fiber clutches, SS Machine lowers, Maximum Motorsport XL subframes, "B" springs.
I have this type and have used it for over 15 years.

The unit is a beast and I have had everything from full size sedans (Chevelles, El Caminos) to a F150 super cab, to 65-73 Mustangs, 79-93 Mustangs, Camaros, and Trans am(s). It takes a bit to get the car on the unit and balanced properly, but once it is then it is easy to rotate and move around. I have trailered cars on the unit to a Media Blaster without issues to.
This is another style that I really like and IMHO works really well for the average home garage. I have considered buying one of these for my house here in CO. The older rotisserie is down in TX at my shop.

That roller hoop looks really convenient for the home! I will be saving for this
I built my own. Pretty happy with it.

I built one as well. I modified a couple of cheap engine stands. Not the fanciest but it did the job.
On the "thrifty" side, I've seen this done, and it works well if you have the room. A simple set of casters or dollies also makes it mobile.

Somebody in here made their own out of wood, similar to above and I recall from the pictures/descriptions that it was pretty simple and worked out well for the average garage.

I picked up this one but haven't gotten it setup yet. Had plans to build one but after pricing it out found that for 150 more I could just purchase one.

I made my own version of the Rolltissiere for my 82 GT since I didn't have my good one and didn't have the funds for the Hoop Roller. I made mine double sided so I could roll the car either direction. Takes up a bit of space in the garage when installed, but work really well for the $$.
You can see more details in my build thread http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthre...s-begun!/page3 starting at post #61.

the Hoop one Looks like it would be in the way working on the 1/4's or wheel wells. Plus could not paint car when on it. I priced out using harbor freight engine stands and steel. I decided for the price difference and time involved buying would be better. Also looked like HF used metric steel sizing. I ended up not doing anything at this time.
