    Default Dash/ Instrument Panel SCREWS

This car has had the dash and IP out a number of times, and the previous owner wasn't careful about re-assembling it with the correct screws. ( 1986 Mustang GT)

Can anyone post what screws go where? Dash Pad, IP and IP fascia?

    Thanks---MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL.

If you are missing screws from other parts of the interior you may be best served by purchasing this complete kit:
    https://lmr.com/item/LRS-7986HB-K/79...rior-Screw-Kit

Unfortunately they don't show on the PDF what the specs are of each screw....to keep you from going out and piecing it together yourself from the hardware store. But it's worth the purchase if you need to replace old rusty/lost screws from other parts of the interior.

I will double check for you as I have one of the kits in my stash, but I'm pretty sure the bags are just labeled with where they go, not the actual specs of the hardware.

Have same kit for when I redo my interior, each bag list what the hardware is for. Just a sample of the bags.

OK, thanks. Yes, too much information would stifle sales.
There is always the local junkyard.....

I keep boxes of screws from Auveeco on hand in 3/4", 1", and 1 1/4". They come in boxes of 50. I've found these to be the three most common sizes. Unless you are doing concourse Resto these are great because they are black with the correct head.

I have the parts book and the 1987 Standard Hardware and Utility Parts Catalog. I have a '91 edition of the catalog as well, and the 2003 edition is floating around on line.

I happen to love fasteners and minute details and since my first Fox is an 86 GT as well i'm going to lean on this request a little.

I will edit this message as I pour through the hardware book. If you have a specific fastener number i'll look it up next.
