I agree with you Bob. It does look like a clean car but one that needs allot of detailing. Looks like the typical Fairmont/Zephyr that would need the aluminum pieces detailed or reannodized. With the lack of pictures, it is hard to tell the extent of what would need done. With all of that being noted, what’s your thoughts on the price? Personally, I don’t see $5000 here even with the rare Turbo option. I’ve been looking for a Turbo F/Z for a while now and prices for nice original cars are just not up there. Does the Turbo make this car worth much more then a regular old 4 or 6 cylinder?

Everone understand that I’m not knocking this car. Just looking for some feedback from anyone familiar with these cars.

It would've been neat to see the console option. The one that doesn't have the e-brake or hole for it! Or a manual

That would be cool! All these F/Z Turbo cars are floor shifted automatic cars.

Would love to find a F/Z Boxtop Turbo as clean as that looks.

I can't claim to know all that much about F/Z cars (beyond their relationship to Mustangs), other than my in-laws had one back in the day. For sure this one needs upholstery and the carpet is faded, but with the few pics it is hard to judge much else. Given its less than stellar reputation, arguably a Turbo 4 would diminish the car's value.... unless it has been rebuilt and now works great, or maybe it has had an Ecoboost transplant (ha). I don't see $5000 either, but I do see an interesting and, after some work, desirable car.

Went and looked at this one yesterday...it's a 30 footer! Older budget repaint that's peeling and overspray in jams. Interior is complete with normal Fox issues from sitting in the sun, including a cut/cracked dash hull. Visible rust coming through both lower 1/4's and rear wheel lips pinch welds. Under hood is complete with normal maitance items replaced. Original exhaust with replacement cat, still has its correct sport tuned exhaust. Manual steering, PB, non A/C car. Overal all complete fairly unmolested car needing love and work everywhere. Could not here her run/drive...dead battery and would not take a charge. Personally I offered 1800 for her and that was a little high for me only because of what it is and would like one! Seller is a nice guy and is somewhat a car guy currently doing a 67 Fastback...who isn't? Just internet misinformed on real values on her...

Yes I took some pics but can't figure out how post as i need to delete older pics as account is full...

Always good to have someone here take a look. Thanks for the report. Did the seller tune in to your discussion of "internet values" vs. realistic values?

Yes...No...Maybe...will have just wait and see, if he doesn't sell I feel it will just get swapped as its "gutless as is"

I'd be happy just to find the hood. The rest of the package is worthless.
