    So i am looking at some new heads and cam setup for my 82 gt. Got this estimate. What do u think.

    Not out of line for a heads / cam / intake swap.. Toward the higher side, but not out of line.

    Consider this..... $1000 more probably buys and swaps in a 400HP+ built crate motor.

    Personally I would never pay $5K for that. No chance.

    Seems a little pricey but I have seen higher for the same job. You really should consider doing it yourself. A head, cam and intake swap is not super difficult and you would save yourself almost $2000 that you could spend on other upgrade parts.

    yah thats what i was thinking could buy a whole new motor for that price.

    Yeah, I wouldn't pay that either. That's why I'm doing my head swap when the time comes. I can't afford that anyways.
