    Default Will Autometer 12101 work in an 86

    Hey guys this 3 pillar gauge pod says 87-93, but looks the same, does it clear dash and work in an 86?

    Simple answer is NO.

    The lower portion of the A pillar is much different than the 4 Eyed pillar and doesn't clear the dash correctly. The 4 Eye dash is higher and comes out further from the windshield and therefore the Aero gauge pillar will not clear. Been there, Tried That, Didn't work.

    Ok, so the only ones that work are the 2 pods that screw to the existing pillar cover?

    As far as a bolt on, Yes! I am not aware of anyone making a full pillar gauge pod setup for the Four Eyes at this time. Sorry!

    I just put one of these in my pace car. I went with the 2-gauge one. It replaces the factory clock and information center, so you may not want to eliminate that stuff, but it's easily reversible if you want to go back to the original look.
