1986 SVO Mustang - 1C
Quarter and door all the damage?
This is my original post on FEP almost 2years ago....
1984 Anny Vert, 5.0,auto, loaded like most. Colorado car, rust free, newer top, clean interior and for the most part everything works, cold A/C cruise/etc...Has had one older repaint that looks ok, replacement left front fender and bumper cover at that time. Has to have RR quarter repair or replacement...I have replacement panel and is included...Radiator core support/rail has been repaired-POORLY and would recommend replacement if you want PERFECT. PO and possible orignial owner had car out in snow storm and slid and hit pole/mail box. Parked and covered car an later passed and out of state family had no interest in her. I have owned her for approx...4 years as I bought this one for my now EX-WIFE (putting it nicely) to share my interest with my hobby. Car has less than 100k and I have maybe put 1500 on her the time I have had it. Car has been and is stored indoors. Easy restoration and nice driver. 2500.00 firm for FEP only
As noted above i would replace radiator core support and left apron if you want perfect, can see damage to lower core support in CL pics. All panels line up correctly for a driver. Left front fender and bumper cover appear to be aftermarket replacements
Honestly I don't think the fait of this thing is looking good at this time, locals that have interest in it are wanting to "Go Racing" or young guys needling a "5.0" to bastardized luckily I have been able to fend them off for now.
Bottom line it's an nice driver easy restoration...Everybody knocks the CFI/AOD COMBO, nothing wrong with them, never will be fast, just an nice cruiser.

If my garage was built already, I'd be all over this. I've seen these sell here in much worse shape for $3500+. The problem for me now is the lack of storage space but that will be rectified around March this year.
Good price, should have sold long ago.
nice honest write-up....
