    Default Weather stripping fairmont

    Merry Christmas everyone,

I building a 78 Fairmont With a Turbocharged V8 but I want to replace all the leaking weather stripping.

Do they offer a kit for these cars? Seems they are not a common car for parts even though they are becoming much more popular in the sleeper/Patina world which is what I’m doing.

    It’s a 78 futura 2dr

Doors: repop Fox Mustang seals are slightly too long; trim to fit.

(Boxtop) trunk: I used a <perfect> JY late-model Crown Vic seal; again, trim to fit.

For a Futura trunk lid, I used the Mustang/Capri hatchback weather stripping from Steele Rubber. Same cross-section as the original, just about a foot too long.
