1984 LTD LX, 160k mile Explorer 5.0, Comp XE264HR-14 cam, Alex’s Parts springs on stock GT40 3 bar heads, Unported Explorer intake, 1 5/8 shorty headers, off-road H-Pipe, Spintech 9000 mufflers, Holley Terminator X Max, J-Mod 4R70W, Mustang 8.8 w/ 3.73s, Tubular front and rear control arms, front coilovers, Turbocoupe rear coil springs
Needs tons of work. If it indeed is rust-free, that is in its favor, otherwise it is a pretty big restoration project. Contrary to the verbiage, Pace Cars aren't particularly rare.

If they are not particularly rare then why would it go against the Foureyedpride's hopes of not to cut up cars, use unique items on other builds and save said cars ?
Personally, I spent $35K redoing mine and I never see another '79 around at shows.
I rebuilt salvage Mustangs back in the day when the '79 - early '80s were new from salvage auctions and yards, and saw a lot of them crushed when parted out, doubt a lot of them are still around.
