    Default SVO flock removal

I recently procured a set of 84 SVO dash inserts. The inserts have flocking that it's got mold growing on them. They are just nasty. My brother needs the driver side for his 86 Svo and I need the passenger side for my Capri project. How have others removed flocking without sanding?

    That makes three of us.

There are a few threads on refinishing but none I’ve seen that show how the person removed the old flocking.

Try using a razor blade held straight up off the panel and scraping off the flock. I wish I could remember how I did mine.

If you are going to re flock them take the lights out and throw them away. Buy some wood grain ones and re flock them and put the lights in them.

So from what I could find in the two threads below it looks like 220grit sand paper was used. I would also be willing to say try paint thinner in spots.
