what is this car worth. are decals on door original. any other issues.
Decals are not original. Overall car looks very clean. I don't recall that this steering wheel was known to have issues, so why the cover? Fuzzy dice suggests an "older" owner?? I see what appears to be a factory marking on the alternator.
Low mileage original cars like this are around but aren't common, especially for the earlier years. The best ones are bringing solid dollars.

The few pictures sure seem to back the 11k mile claim. The one pic where you can see the Tach sure looks like minty fresh, vibrant color gauges. Not enough quality pics to tell...I would have to go see it or ask for dozens of more pics before buying site-unseen. I'd remove the MUSTANG decal for sure, and what appears to be the TOTALLY 80's chrome top covers on the headlights.
If this car is on your wish list, and the condition matches the low mileage I would not be ashamed to pay $10k for it.

This appears to be a legit car, and I like the blue/white combination with the TRX wheels. I agree with Jason, I think it is fairly priced.

i just emailed the guy, lets see what he says back.
Looks legit. Steering wheel? Must be a non cruise car. I thought glx meant loaded.
Either way it looks ligit from here, certainly a nice $11,000 car.

That steering wheel was standard equipment on GT, GL, and GLX. The L model had the cruise-style wheel, color-matched to the interior. A few years ago, there was a Red on Red GLX 5.0 convertible on ebay. What made it unusual is that it appeared to be a no-option GLX; no PW, PDL, A/C, console, it even had a 4 speed instead of 5 speed!
Looking forward to hearing more about that Blue/White GLX.
guy is listing the car for the owner, have not contacted the owner as its always hard to get info if they don't even know how to post a craigs ad.
well talked with the actual owner and he is a nice older guy. of course he does not know how to post an ad or add more photos. he cannot even text me or email me photos. another person took the limited photos and created the ad. i sent them another email and the reply was all the photos i have are on the ad already. 7 total photos.
by any chance can someone see this car in person and give it a good look over. it sounds right but cannot buy based on such limited photos and info. its about 15 miles north of scranton, pa. zip 18421
Squirrel did you see the Red GLX just posted....in Cincy?
