You are probably okay to go 1988-1993 updated TAD/TAB,

    but since its a Saleen...

Inside, the Ford Explorers used them for the early Borduex 4 and 5 speed Automatic transmission solenoids, IIRC. New Old Stock......1988 on wards, the housing changed.

The plastic parts are serviced off any 1984-1986 Mustang, F150, or Panther

    Issue/Problem:
The pair that my 1986 Mustang have are hissing from the top cap when applying vacuum through a hand pump. Both are hissing from the top cap of the solenoids when applying vacuum through the top port vacuum line.

When applying vacuum to the lower port of the solenoid, vacuum holds well and does not leak.

    The Questions:
    1. Are these solenoids suppose to leak from the top cap when pulling vacuum from the top port vacuum line?

    2. When my engine is idling, the vacuum line that is attached from the TAD solenoid to the diverter valve, the vacuum is weak. Is there suppose to be lots of vacuum being pulled through that line at idle?
