    Default Champion radiator electric fan

Got a champion 3 row radiator and shroud with a 16 " electric fan. Want to upgrade the electric fan. This one doesnt have much power. What is a better 16" fan with better cfm.

Most aftermarket fans are pretty weak in regards to actual CFM.

Often you are better off adapting an OEM fan setup such as the Taurus, later model Mustang, the ole' Contour dual fan setup, etc. Most of those fans can be purchased from Rock Auto and your local parts stores for $100-$150 and will flow 2000 - 3400 CFM.

I am using an 03/04 Cobra fan in my 82 GT with the 5.4 DOHC. I have used a Taurus fan in other Mustang projects and have considered running the dual Contour fan for some others. Good Luck!

get yourself either a junkyard V6 Taurus or a 99-02 Cougar/Contour Dual fan. They will last longer than your car and pull more than 3000cfm. Pair them with a FAL33054 controller and you are good,
