If you dislike your car so much, why not give someone here a shot at it first ... or just burn it.

Gas Monkey is already bragging about a 79 Cobra they plan to bring to Barret Jackson in 2018.

I hate that guy, and that show. He's gonna ruin it the way they ruined that Pantera...

I have a 80 Cobra (Turbo) that I am getting ready to sell. 76,000 original miles, been painted once (but the paint is cracking), but the car is rust free and the interior nice. Not a T-Top. Runs but will need a carb overhaul. The only reason for selling is that I bought a 33,000 mile original one in nicer shape. I paid $4500 for the brown on (the one I am selling), so I would offer it to this group for the same price.

Brown one was from MA. The owner had said it was really solid and I wan't sure I believed him, but bought it anyways as I needed an 80. Turned out to be really solid, has been undercoated with the yellow stuff from day one.

The brown car is nice and would be a good buy at $4500. These damn things are really hard to find these days. Is the brown car 4cy turbo and 5spd?

2.3L Turbo and 4 speed. 5 speeds didn't come out until half way through the 1983 production (if I am correct).
