    Default Thermostat ?

How is the best way to remove thermostat, without removing water pump. The bolt behind the water pump has me stumped. Would a distributor wrench work?

Yes. That is what I used last time.

Thanks Mike, I was messing with different wrenches and had no luck. Then as I was sitting here typing question the dist. wrench idea hit me. I will pick one up. Thanks again

I just loosen distributor and turn dashpot out of the way, gives you more room to get the wrench in there.

Get a wobbly 1/4 socket. After you remove the bolt, cut a slot in it and use a screwdriver to put it back in.
