Default Dumb question; 14" wheels and '87-'93 5.0 brakes

I've got total brain fade going on... Do the earlier 14" aluminum wheels ('83-'84 specifically) fit over the larger '87-'93 5.0L brakes? Or do those brakes mandate the use of 15" and larger wheels? I think I'd like to rock the correct wheels on my '83.

The factory 15" steel wheels won't fit over the 11" front brakes, so I really doubt that a 14" wheel will clear.

15" cast aluminum "10-hole" wheels do fit over 11" brakes. 1987-93 LX 5.0L models (SSP only 1991-93) had those wheels.

yup, I know I remember when they were in the showroom... I've got a set of 15" turbines, too.

Don't really like the phone dials on a pre-85. Trying to stick with '83 vintage looking wheels. I like the 14" wagon wheels better than the TRXs, but I also like stopping...

I just thought I'd ask since I don't have any 14"s to try.

    Thanks everyone!
