Default I've been lurking since dirt was a kid...

but finally registered. Started life a Capri guy and over the years have had countless aero foxes etc but can finally say I have my first four eye. Recently bought a 1979 notch with a 2.8 V6 and 45,500 kms (I'm Canadian eh!!!) Car has original paint and runs well but will be transformed a little over the winter. The factory paint is a little dull but should buff up ok. I really want the stance of this car to be perfect and with a bit of a sinister edge. I ordered 17X9/10 flat black 10th anniversary wheels this morning and I have a full 1990 efi drivetrain to swap over the winter. I'd like this car to handle and stop pretty decent as well so hopefully I can find those pieces too. anyway, the biggest outstanding issue I have is the parking lights aren't working, headlights are fine and the fuses all look ok so need to troubleshoot that to start. Her she is in all her glory.... Project Blue Hair...

Welcome to the site Skinny and project Blue Hair!

Whereabouts are you located? I'm looking for some 2.8 parts so before you toss anything send me a message! Is this car a manual or auto?

Just so you know, Duplicolor Bumper Trim Black paint in a can (TB#101 I believe is the #) is a perfect match if you start working on the faded bumper trim where it has faded through to the yellow. Ask me how I know

Nice notch. Great tip on painting that trim. I have a bumper with some yellow showing through too.
