My girlfriends father is selling his 86 GT. It's one of the cleanest Foxbodys I've seen. Really thinking about buying it. What do y'all think this is worth.

Not everyone will be a fan of the changes so if he has all the stock parts that would help the value. I've learned with family buys, sometimes the value is higher because of the history. Don't write that off. .. if your looking for a car to have for a long time I see this being a bit high asking but potentially worth it bease you might value HIS investment in labor and taste. If you were looking purely monetary I would suggest it's street value is 1.5k or so less then the price on the ad.
I don't mind the changes on it. His cousin had bought it new and was the one who did the changes. Original parts aren't around anymore. That's about what I thought it was worth though. He already said he'd give it to me for a better price. Just wanted some other opinions on it too. Will be the first one I've owned if I do buy it.
How many miles. Any engine modifications.
I'm going to say $4,500. If you're okay with the mods and it's as clean as you say. JMO
I'm not crazy about the hood or the side skirts so I wouldn't even bother with it.

68000 original miles. Interior is perfect. No rust. No engine modifications. Only thing done is shorty headers and dual flowmasters. Like I said I don't mind the body changes.
There's not much you can buy for under $10k these days that's inexpensive to maintain and fun to drive.
I'd say if you like the car and are not worried about resale then buy it and enjoy it.

68k miles, two owners and as clean and rust free as you say....I'd say $8k is a good ASKING price. If you can own it for ~$6k then I'd jump on it...especially if you like the appearance mods and don't have to spend any money changing things out.
