That is a freakin' incredible car. The interior is amazing and unmolested and there is no black spray paint where someone started a black interior conversion. Any claim about mileage is obviously out the window due to the speedo but that speedo is worth money anyway. It's just honest looking to me. The decals and all. I half way want to take a chance on it and have it shipped.

Totally agree with you homer. You could probably buff the paint back and wouldn't take much to fix the hood decals. What's one of those 140 speedo's bringing these days.

This could be a good buy, looks to be in pretty good shape. Sucks about mileage, but appears to not be molested.

I agree with the comments. The car has that neglected, but not abused look. A buff job and a fender repair and the car would probably be cruise-in-worthy. The uncommon color is also a plus, at least to me.

One never knows whether to believe the story behind the car, but it sounds plausible. So the owner bought the car in about 1992, when it was eight years old, and had only 20K miles at that time? So it had lived an easy life to that point?

The only thing that didn't look 'right' was that the engine looked clean. Wouldn't it look neglected too? Although, the seller notes that certain mechanical work had been done. I suppose someone could have done a wipe-down on the engine compartment in the process.

I hope someone can save, and revitalize, this one.

Yes something is off with the hood that scoop only came on GT Turbo's in 84. Rear hatch would lead you to believe it was a later 84.

Scope was added to the original flat hood, and a early mid year car. Standard nose and pancake spoiler. Has what appears to be paint or panel replacement right front and side

I'm really loving this car! I do notice that the headlight buckets are painted and I'm fairly certain those should have been body side molding color, but I could be wrong since I've never owned a 84. Could it have been painted? If so is copper the original color? Either way if it were closer I would have to go take a look!

83-84 had black headlight buckets and buckets the color of the car, never could figure out why some came black or color coded.

This sure brings back some memories, I had one just like this except with turbine wheels back in the mid 90's.
