Default Cool Non Fox Pulled Out Of Woods

Not a foxbody 4 eye buy cool old 4 eye near me. Can’t believe someone left this one in the woods until it looked like this.
69 GTX with 440. Can’t tell what trans is in it as the glass is so covered in crud I couldn’t clean a spot to look in. I could make out that the trim rings for the wheels are in the front seat. Taillight panel and trunk are completely rotted away. I’m a fan of muscle Mopars and this is really sad.Name: 73D312D7-085F-470D-AE43-835B8B607FBF.jpg

Worth a restoration. They bring big $$$ once restored.

First thing I thought of! The fact that they bring so much money makes it worthwhile to restore most of them. Granted, this one looks like an absolute basket case. It's a shame someone would do that to such a cool car. Probably one of those "I'm going to fix it one day" deals.

I grew up in the Northeast, and this would be considered a very restorable car up there, as up there the top of the car would be rotted too. The outer body looks good, as long as the frame isn't bad, as trunk and floor pans are readily available. It appears to have all the trim pieces and even the original rally wheels. It is a shame it sat in the woods, though, I agree with that! Being a car guy, living in the South is awesome!

I can't imagine how many cool cars have just been left to die in the woods and other area's? Sad to see for sure!

Here is a video of a VW bus left to rot in the Swiss Alps and the resurrection of the bus.

Long video well done with a surprising ending.

Well worth IF you like "Found Dead" vehicle resurrections!

And you think you worked hard to get the "Barn Find" out the barn and back home!

Thanks for sharing the VW rescue video. After watching the video, read the article about how he found it. Cool story.

Forget Graveyard cars, I'd go restomod.

    Put it on this: http://www.schwartzperformance.com/m...is-full-frame/

    Add this: https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sf...351251840.html

Or if the 440 is salvageable
    Stroke it: http://www.coasthigh.com/Chrysler-44...kits-s/137.htm
Find some good aluminum heads, then top it off with this : http://www.fbthrottlebodies.com/

Just a power washer would do wonders in terms of seeing where it's at.
