Default New Front Control Arms-Ball Joint Treads

I got new ford front control arms installed a few years ago and noticed one ball joint has fine treads for the castle nut and one has course threads.
Any idea why the difference is in threads? Type of ball joint maybe?

One may have been replaced at one time and the other wasn't?

I bought two 2.8L V6 motor mount through RockAuto that came from two different warehouses and "manufacturers". One was metric and the other imperial (UNC). Dimensionally the mount was correct.

I wonder how hard it would be just to buy a metric castle nut if you buggered yours

They were both replaced at the same time. Bought them both from the dealership. Is to possible one is a low friction ball joint?
