Makes you wonder how some of them made it through medical school.
I constantly irritate my family and others when I remind them that 1/2 of all doctors finished in the bottom half of their class. They are humans just like the rest of us. They make mistakes, they are not perfect, and they are NOT GODS! Even though many of believe they are. With that said, a doctor that knows their craft, has a heart, compassion, and a true desire to help and heal people is a priceless individual that I truly respect and appreciate! There are still some out there, but they are getting hard to find these days it seems.

Thanks guys I do appreciate it. On a better note, the weather in Texas was decent and mild today, so my sister was able to get my father to sit outside on the back porch to get some fresh air and some sun today. Not sure he was thrilled about it, but he did is so that is great! Poor guy is done to 190lbs from 230lb when all of this start. I haven't been able to see him in person, but he looks like skin and bones in the pictures. Honestly it breaks my heart to even think about it. Praying he's able to improve and add some mass back to his body in a good way. Thanks again everyone!

My father passed away today at @ 10:00am CST in the ICU in Round Rock. He was admitted for shallow breathing and severe pain. He had a seizure on Monday and had been sedated since they were able to revive him. He was at peace and finally no pain when he departed. Thanks to all the friends and members that have expressed their well wishes, thoughts and prayers over the past couple years for my Dad and my family.

I will miss my Dad dearly, but I am so happy and grateful that he is finally no longer suffering will all the ailments and pain he has endured for these past several years. He fought longer and harder, than I ever expected and honestly more than I think I ever could. He will be missed by many, but never forgotten. Thanks to everyone and God Bless!

Last update to my Father's Saga. We had a Memorial/Celebration of Life for my Father on Saturday. The ST Phillips Church in Round Rock TX that my parents were founding members of was packed with Friends, Family, Co-Workers, and Love Ones. The Memorial was excellent. The Air Force Honor Guard presented the US Flag to our family. Several base commanders attended and paid tribute to my father and his military service. Loved ones were able to tell wonderful stories about my father. A group of his fellow pilots did a fly over in private aircraft midway through the service in the missing man formation.

After the service we gathered in the fellowship hall and were able to meet, greet, visit, talk, and tell stories of my father and many adventures. Dad had well over 150 people attend his Celebration and everyone expressed what a wonderful Ceremony and Memorial it was in his honor. We were able to see old friends, family members, loved ones, and others that all knew my father in so many different ways. It took 6 months to put this together and get everything in line, but it was well worth the wait. I am sure my father was watching over us and enjoyed it as much as we did. Thank you once again to everyone that has expressed their well wishes and condole scenes. God Bless!
