That poor thing needs Dr Vinyl to fix that seat and a Chris fix style engine detail badly.

The seat wear makes me question the mileage but the odometer is rolling over straight and the rest of it looks clean.

Might be a candidate for an unrestored class, maybe.

I would almost bet this is an original 55k car. My bet is that the 55k was done in short trips with a lot of in and out of the car. The drivers seat looks decent minus that one spot that almost appears was caused by something in someone's back pocket that caught the bolster at some point. A small tear looks bad over time if it wasn't repaired.

Some people are not like some of us that put 60-80k on a car per year. I'm glad I'm not doing much of that anymore.

I Went and actually looked at this car for my son. The mileage is correct. Needed Brakes, (pedal went to the floor), needed steering rag joint (bad), A.C. did not work, Headliner needed replacement. And rubber fuel line from tank to fuel pump needed replacement. (Someone scabbed in the rubber fuel line and held it up with zip ties.) overall the car was in very good condition sheetmetal wise and body wise. Looked like it had some recent paint work ( Earl Shieb) done on the lower pass side 1/4 panel behind the tire. Otherwise decent car. I offered him $2200.00 cash. He told me he could not buy a peanut butter / jelly sandwich for that lol. so I walked away. I offered him what it was worth considering what it needed just to make it a decent driver. guy was a used car salesman on the side. Never fixed anything on it just through it on the lot and hoped nobody would pick up on what it needed. Typical.
