    Default Ron Francis PiMP ECU Harness

    Does anyone have any experience with this harness that is setup to work with the PiMP ECU? It looks like it gets rid of some unnecessary wiring to help clean things up a bit and should be already pinned correctly for the PiMP ECU. My factory harness is still in good shape, but I have not re-pinned it yet for the new ECU, I am just curious if it is worth the money to get it.

    I don't have any experience with the PiMP harness, but I have installed several full kits from Ron Francis over the years. Very good quality stuff and I am sure this harness is the same.

    I have looked at this harness myself as I am considering the PiMP for my 84 SVO that suffered an engine fire with the PO and will require an all new harness either way. With that being the case, I have considered upgrading to the PiMP to improve the engine power and tune-ability. Hope that helps!

    What would you need to rewire for the PiMP ECU? It's designed to work with the factory harness, other than the additional sensor connectors.

    Just curious. Do the install instructions http://www.ronfrancis.com/images/PM65-INST.pdf answer some of your questions?

    I read them, just curious if anyone had any experience with this particular harness. My factory connectors are getting brittle but everything else is still in decent condition. But if I were to swap my factory harness for a Ron Francis harness now would be the time to do it as may car is all torn apart getting a big refreshing.

    ECU = Engine Control Unit

    I am a former aircraft mech, so some of that lingo comes across in my car terminology.
