Default Aero rear seat in my 86 hatch

Can an aero rear seat, the bottom part, be mounted in my 86? I have the seat and the bars that bolt to the pan. Or does anyone have a pic of the bars and where they are mounted to the pan?
    thanks

    Afaik, yes.

The main differences in the back part of the 86 vs 87-90 interior were
    1 - seat fabric
    2 - speaker location
    3 - hatch area / carpet shape
4 - window trim depth to compensate for glass outside vs inside

around 91 or 92 the front seat shoulder straps were moved higher. Some screw locations changed too

somewhere in there rear seat shoulder belts became available

I guess I have a 90-93 rear seat. It has bars that bolt to the floor pan. I need to see the orientation of the bars to bolt them down. Can't find a good picture anywhere.

Yes.. A coupe and hatch bottom are the same size, a vert is specific. I did this, but had the donor car on hand to mark the bar mounting locations. You can then run your seatbelts up through the seat holes if desired, instead of behind it. No luck on the pic though, sorry.

When I put a later fox rear seat in my wife's 88 Mustang (changed over to leather) the way it mounted to the floorpan changed so it would not clip in. I ended up swapping the cover to the 88 seat frame and it fit fine and clipped right in.

So it can be done if the bars are in the right spot. I'll try and use a small sheet metal screw to attach the bars and test fit. If I get it right I'll bolt them down. Thanks
