    If you have plenty of thread engagement you are good to go. Just run a 5/16"x18 tap through the hole to clean up the threads.

    Looks like maybe 1/8" gone with maybe 1/2" left.

    Egads! Two responses while I was typing my response to 306gt and I didn't see them before.
