Default This is my third Turbo-bird, but the first time here. Hello!

Looks like this is the premium place for the four eyed fox!

136K on the clock, clutch pedal a bit bent, boost solenoid doesn't work (hit overboost buzzer), and heater core leaking. Other then that, feels strong!

Last owner did a lousy job on a repaint. I'm finding bubble rot around the base of the rear window and I'll have to start the grind work to see how deep it goes. Once I isolate the cancer, new metal is going in.

The best part? Out the door...$900.

Edit: I just noticed in other posts that people love pics...so I'll throw in a couple!

Welcome to the site! I had an 86 TC for my second car. Too bad it didn't last me long!

    85 or 86?

    I got a 86 bird, 153k mile 5.0 slow. Also have an 83 135k 3.8 cougar, a 86 5.0 cougar with around 350k and a 88 xr7 with about 175k miles. Good run cars. Never had a turbo though.

Stick around and sell me those center caps if you go 5 lug .

It's an '86. I actually like the look of the pre-beak TC's more then later on.

Quick question to ask it's any benefit. My brother has a '95 explorer with the 302 and a 8.8 rear with 4.10's. Is that axle a direct bolt in for this car?

I'm debating on using it, but that rear gear will kill mileage.

No the Explorer axle is not a direct swap. You can use the internal gear, differential, etc. but the housing is different.
