Default 1986 GT Convertible in Humboldt Arizona $5900

Hello, since my photobucket account was zapped, I have no idea how to post pictures on this site these days. So I will simply post the Craigslist URL for everyone's consideration.

    https://prescott.craigslist.org/cto/...468737991.html

Since I am headed north to pick up our SVO in Spokane in a couple of weeks we have decided to sell my wife's 86 GT convertible so the SVO will have an indoor home when it arrives here.

We are asking a pretty firm $5900 for the car on Craigslist, but are willing to lower the price a few hundred dollars for brothers and sisters on FEP if there is serious interest.

Thank you for the compliment. We have truly enjoyed this little car, but it really is a ten-footer.

    Nice looking car. Well .....

Now take the center caps off, pop them back out, and install them properly. Lol. Old school trick from tire dudes who hate Mustangs. They are supposed to look like this

I know that they are popped out when new, but not sure but what I like the concave look better.
I guess a new owner can always decide what their preference is on important matters like hub covers!

    Thanks BW,
I agree about the white leather. It is my all time favorite interior color.
You know, white interiors are a bit like red interiors: there is no middle ground you either love them or hate them.
If ours had the running pony on the head rests we probably wouldn't be willing to sell it.........nice touch on your 85!

Nice car, wish I didn't already have three fox verts. Good luck with the sale.

too funny... the white top & interior are what kills it for me... had an '01 GT 'vert in triple white... NOT a good car for Los Angeles... I always kept the top & interior conditioned to minimize sun damage... which meant that all the road grime stuck to it like glue! Beautiful car tho... good luck with sale!

No problem Ritchie, just get rid of a couple of the ones that you now have, then you could buy this one LOL

What a lovely car. I wish I had room (and the cash) for another. Best of luck with the sale. I'm sure it will find a good home.

Thanks for the nice comment Bryan,
If it sells, it sells. If not, then it will stay with us and that is fine also!

    We still have it.
I just took it off of Craigslist until spring.
Even in the Az. mountains, verts are more popular in summer than winter.

the ad just came up for me and seems current. nice presentation of the car and way to point out the issues too. wish the paint was better as it seems by description it needs redone. seems priced right too.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Squirrel.
I am still fluctuating about whether I really want to sell this car or not.
We have enjoyed owning and driving it these past several years.

As far the paint, I am one who believes in the old saying: "Once a car is repainted, it can never be original again". Even though thirty some year old paint shows its age, I prefer that to repainting as long as it still looks good from ten feet away.
