Thread: Fuel lines

    Default Fuel lines

Upgraded my 85 to a single intank pump and did away with the external pump. Going to mount the fuel filter up by the tank like the 86s. Does someone sell the high psi line for the 86 n up or is there some splicing I can do? Does someone make the fittings to tie the factory lines together.

Even back in the 90's your only real option was high pressure rubber fuel line and clamps. Just be sure to push them on far enough that the clamp is on the other side of the retaining bump the factory lines clip on to. That way of the hose slides the clamp comes up against the ridge and can't come off.

I used the Nylon Line from Dorman for all my fuel lines in my Blue car. You can get all kinds of adapters that push lock onto fuel filters.

I have this kit, not that you need the whole thing. All these connections are avail
