    Default New from South Texas!

Hey y'all! I'm not new to foxbodies, but its been a while since I had one... I recently purchased a bone stock 1985 Mustang GT in medium canyon red... The car is CLEAN and running a 4bb carb and a 5 spd... I've already added an 8.8 from a 1992 GT and have upper and lower control arms and subframe connectors on their way too... I'm currently bidding on a Holley/Weiand 174 blower and I'm going to be running a Holley Sniper EFI on it... WISH ME LUCK!!!!

Welcome to FEP. Sounds like a really nice car. I am running the weiand 174 with the edelbrock 750 cfm carb. I do not know about the new weiand 174 kit but the old one did not come with a serpentine belt tensioner and they required you to cut off the top of your original alternator bracket where the tensioner mounted and find a manual tensioner and bracket from like a 1986 t-bird 3.8l and ford does not make them anymore. let me know how the sniper efi works out.
