    Default Pace Car Sacralige?

I have always felt that the Saleen side skirts and back bumper cover properly finished off the fox body. With out them it looks unbalanced. Since my car is already wellmodded, how heinous a crime is to add the side skirts and bumper cover?? To me it will let the front bumper flow a lot better with the rest of the car.

    What are the thoughts?

Here is a question for you. Are you planning to keep the car long term or do you get bored and swap vehicles every so often to something else?
If the answer is yes you may want to consider not doing it to a PC. If the answer is no and you are like me keeping cars long term then go ahead. The skirts are pretty much bolt on. The rear bumper I don't know about.
In the end I guess the ultimate answer is it's your car to do with as you wish.

I would add SVO spats instead of the Saleen side skirts and rear bumper imo.

Lol. Now that's pretty funny. And what's even funnier is a buddy has those exact wheels jus laying around.

That really seems to complete the look that they started. There will be a clone of your car in the future.

Well both of those additions can be removed just as easy as they go on. But I get your point. I am usually a 4 year car guy. I think this one will stay around for a while and since it's been modded already I think I'm going to keep going.

I am using the Cervinis Saleen side skirts and rear valance on my coupe along with the PC front. I agree that they do fill in the car nicely. There are only a few screw holes to attach them, they are mainly held on with 3M double stick adhesive stripping.

Its your car man...do what YOU want with it And yes, the Saleen or Cobra side skirts and rear valence totally gel with and complete the look of the front valence as you described.

I have a pace car front end on my '79 coupe with Cirvani Saleen style side skirts and rear bumper valance. Looks just right in my opinion.

    Go for it!!!

    It's just a CAR.

It's YOUR Car so make it your own the way YOU like it and don't worry about what the rest of us think as the reality is we really don't care what you do to YOUR car.

Pace Car or not. Ford made a bunch of em so it's not rare!

I finally after all of these years figured out what I dislike about side skirts. It's the way they look around the door vs fender and quarter.

Other cars have trim affixed to doors also.

interesting- it just never jumped out at me before. Sorry, I know I just ruined skirts for someone else too...
