Thumbs up I need a visual: 2000 Cobra R wheels on a Capri......

I have always liked the design of the wheel and LMR has the 18" x 9.5" set for $600. 2000 Cobra R wheels on a Capri.....

    https://lmr.com/item/WK-9653R/mustan...95-9404-silver

Although silver works with any color, I would prefer chromed. Any body running these on any 4 eye?

I unfortunately don't have any pictures to help you out. I also don't have any 2000 Cobra R wheels either. 95 Cobra R, YES! But not the 2000 models to even try and mock them up on my 84 RS.

Although you didn't ask, I will throw my .02 in for whatever its worth if anything.

IMHO the 2000 Cobra R wheels don't look that great on the Fox Body cars, worse on the Capri, and even worse on the Bubble Back Capri.

The 2000 Cobra R wheels appear to have thin spokes due to the large round center section and IMHO it doesn't fit the lines of the Fox body cars like it does the 99-04 cars. The Capri being a muscular looking car with the fender flares and then the big butt of the bubble hatch in my eyes makes the wheel spokes of the 2000 Cobra R's look even thinner and less muscular. Kind of like a huge body builder that forgot to ever work his legs if you know what I mean.

Here is the only picture I could find of a Capri with 2000 Cobra R wheels. The wheels in black don't look as skinny or "Chicken Legged" as the silver or chrome would IMHO.

In black if you like murdered out it accomplishes it nicely.

1993 Cobra R wheels would look much better in my opinion though

I actually prefer the 79-82 flat hatch myself, but then again I do have one of each.

Neither of the Capri(s) are mine unfortunately!

What I don't have is the time and $$ to finish my cars!

Big diff in the way painted and chrome rims reflect light.
Chrome is like a mirror, reflecting color and objects near the car.
Changes the overall car look parked in different foreground settings.
Painted rim designs are a little more pronounced than chrome when parked.
On the road, they also look different when the wheel is rotating.
Color of the body combines its affect.
Yellow cars for one look nice with chrome R's.
As if they 'dress up' plain color cars like white or tan.
On dark color cars, depends on what one wants the eye to focus on.
TRX rims have a nice finish that works with all colors.

Sorry, been a little crazy down here the past week. I bought the wheels from American Muscle and they were 18x9. Sorry I don't remember the back spacing.
