Default Rear window defrost help needed

Since the SEARCH function still doesn't work i am asking for help. I am going through the rear hatch to renew everything and came across this problem. When the body shop removed the rear glass somehow the rear defrost strip pulled loose and came apart at the connector. It appears that it is just soldered there but was wondering if anyone here has experience with this? Also this rear glass had window tint. I pulled off all the window tint but it left an adhesive residue. I scrapped some of it off with a razor blade but obviously can't do that near the defroster strips. I tried Jasco adhesive remover but it isn't really working very well. Anyone have something they can recommend?

I don't know what to do about the tint. The defroster can be repaired. Do an inter net search on defroster repair. There is a paint that is used the patch them. Likely you can use that.

Laquer thinner and 0000 steel wool. Rub lightly, keep it wet with thinner. Comes right off.
