Default Picked up a new daily driver!

So, I'm not rushing the restoration of my 20th. I really want to do a quality job on the car. In the meantime I really, really wanted something cool to drive. I'd been eyeballing this particular car for the last 6-8 months. This thing nearly fell into my lap the other day and I couldn't resist.

Thanks guys, I like it alot. It's a higher mileage car and needs some TLC but overall good car. I have a few ideas in mind for it to make it my own but nothing radical.

Nice, the triple black 96-98 convertibles have long been on my "want list."

I understand that. I've always liked the 94-95 Cobra. Still 5.0 and just a little unique.

Love them too, just recently started growing on me. Cobra 5.0 that's all. Maybe a GT convertible too.

That's what my Daily is and they are 10X better than a Fox. I know Trey hates on them but I think it may be because he is a larger frame fella and they are actually more cramped inside even though they measure larger. The door panels, dash and console are all more imposing on the driver than a Fox. There is not a single thing that the SN95 doesn't do better than a Fox. At least an EARLY Fox. You could argue the '87-93 cars are quicker in a 1/4 but they aren't hard to get them to be quicker than a Aero Fox. Mine (94) STILL does not squeak, creak, leak or rattle after 177K. They ride better, stop better, handle better and are more comfortable and have a WAY better stereo, especially if you get the MACH sound system. Their suspension parts also last a lot longer. I love mine.

Yeah, I'm finding myself falling in love with this car rather rapidly, just itching to throw some power into it.

Thanks guys. If anyone can help me find an original 95 Cobra RF caliper that still has the Cobra casting on it, I'd much appreciate it. Mine has an original on the driver's side and a replacement on the passenger. I'd like an original to rebuild and put it back to the original look.

I'm happy to hear it any time a fellow FEP member finds something they like.

Admittedly I'm still going to continue to use the hell out of the SN95s for parts though.

A few months in, how's the SN95 treating you?
