What exactly are you asking?
IIRC the Sonic Blue paint is a Tri Coat color that is a base coat, a pearl mid coat, and a clear coat. There really isn't any "flake" in the paint. Besides very few of the new modern colors actually use flakes for the metallic they are using pearls and pearl midcoats that are comprised of very fine particles to give the metallic and the "flop" that many of the new colors have.
I would highly recommend finding a vehicle local to you that has the Sonic Blue color so you can see it in person as that is the best way to judge any color you are considering for your car. You can always spray a test panel, but again a full car will give you the best ability to view the color in the real world and outside in the sun light. Good Luck!

I agree with the post above. I had a sonic blue Lighning and loved the color. Seriously considered it for my Fairmont too.
thanks for the input trying to decide what color to paint my 86 fox so many to choose from
Great color, mine is Sonic Blue. But we changed up the base coat color and used a high solids clear (yellow cast) so at some angles it appears to have purple in it

Sonic Blue is a great color and I too have considered for my SVO. I wasn't trying to change your mind in regard to the color, just wasn't sure what you were originally asking.
Bottom line is that IMHO, the Sonic Blue, Deep Impact Blue, and Kona Blue all later model Mustang colors are great options for a Fox and any of them will work and look great! It's just a matter of which do you like best and how much $$ do you want to spend. Good Luck!
