Look at the engine pic, engine bay looks blue but the side of the fenders looks black.

Looks blue to me, and is listed as blue. Could have been repainted blue, or it could be lighting and camera playing tricks. I see what you are referring to, but I suspect its the pictures playing tricks. Plus the engine bay paint never really looked identical to the fenders on these cars as they only got a single light coat, a lot of times with some primer showing through on the shock towers and other intricate areas.
