Unhappy Help with Custom Coolant Lines!!

I am struggling with the coolant lines on my project. It's a 2.3 turbo coupe motor in a 1973 240z. The car has no heater core and I am using a Holset turbo that isn't water cooled. The original platform has a ton of coolant lines running everywhere and I'm having a hard time simplifying the system.

The lower intake manifold has 2 ports, I'm not sure what to do with these. Can I block one off and run the other into the return line? I also have a manual fan switch so I'm not using the port on the block for the coolant temp switch. However, there are two ports on the block itself... can I plug both up?

Does anybody have a water line diagram? I can't find any information on this.

I've included photos of how things are currently. The two hard lines are for the oil cooler. Name: coolant lines.jpg

Lots of discussions over the years there on this subject.

yeah, this is a mess. They must've made 50 different configurations of the same exact 2.3 turbo engine and coolant line routing. And they only put it in like 6 cars. They had issues early on with cooking oil and started chasing it around and heck, 2 cars on the showroom floor might not even have the same coolant lines. It's a mess for realz, LOL.

Okay, I'm going to plug all the holes except for one in the lower intake which I need to route to one of my customs lines.

My only question now is which direction does coolant flow in regards to the lower intake? Does coolant come out of lower intake from the head or does it flow inwards towards the head as a supply?

The two ports in the lower manifold are for: coolant, the other is for the temp sensor that turns on the electric fans. The coolant sensor in the block is for the dash gauge. The sensor port on top of the lower intake is for the ecu. If you look through the motor mayhem thread in my signature you'll see how my water pipes are routed.
If you blink at the end of the straight away you'll miss the twisties and what fun would that be!
