I have no idea why this thought entered my head, but when I looked at the picture, I thought it would have been an appropriate car for Joe Friday and Bill Gannon to have been driving if their TV show would have extended another decade.

Pretty cool car, in my opinion.

Neat little, grossly over-price (IMHO) car.

Pretty much optionless, but has wing windows, which weren't very popular.

Marti & ?Eminger? framed on the back seat in pic #3?

Note the terrible deck lid fit in the last pic; suspect poorly repaired left rear (perhaps more) damage.

Nice survivor. Yep, a Marti report. The ad states the Marti report shows the car is 1 of 9 optioned like this. I am sure that is where some of his price comes from.

Nice Merc. yes a bit over priced. Nice candidate for a 2.3 turbo setup.

It sure shows nice! Too bad about his engine suggestion. How does a guy go from how rare and significant it is to ruining it with a Chevy swap?

If the body and paint is as mint as it looks I think it's more than fair. You could find one for half the price but then have to spend another 5 grand on paint and body and have it end up costing you more. Same goes for the interior. You can't restore a cheaper car to look this nice for that money. Just my thoughts.
