Default Before and After Engine Pics

I was poking around my computer and found a "Before" pic of the engine. Hard to believe it looked like that and still ran! It's come a long way.

Nice contrast on the before & after. I saw your car at Carlisle - yes it's really that nice....

    Wow, looks awesome now.

I need to do a before & after comparison, but I haven't started on mine yet!

Thank guys! I appreciate the positive comments. Means a lot to me coming from the experts!

I actually found the pic while I was at work looking for something else.
Needless to say, I spent a good amount of time at work just staring at the before pic asking myself, "Was this really my car?" LOL!!!
But like everything else, it's never done, right?
I'm thinking of doing the body work and paint this upcoming spring. It's still sporting a Maaco like paint job.
Looks great from 30 feet, but whoever did the paint job did very bad body work. They painted over so many little dings and wrinkles.
I've got to take some before pics of the body before I start!

JTurbo, Carlisle was a Blast! Loved it! I didn't get a chance to meet any of you guys but saw a lot of awesome cars!
Are there FourEyedpride decals we can put on our cars to help us locate other members?

83GTJIM, I'm running a polished water pump that has threaded fittings for the heater hose and bypass. I've connected the bypass, but plugged the heater hose outlet with an NPT plug.

Experts? Us? Nah....just enthusiasts that enjoy working on our Mustangs! I have rediscovered how much fun it is to dive into this car and work on it.

Your work on on that engine bay has really inspired me! Your pic is now my go to motivation when it seems to never get done!

That's easy, if you are running a stock pump? Just get a hose cap kit from McParts store and cap it off. If you care about MCA, leave the hoses to the core and plug them off too. Its a stealth heater delete that makes it still appear stock. My 82 and 85 are both done this way. This is the best pic I can find....the heater hose is placed strategically in this pic to hide the "cap" that is blocking the water pump outlet.
