Default Not perfect - charcoal marchal fog light covers.

    I bought these from Saturn V, thread - http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthre...ers-restorable

I cleaned them up, but in the process kind of messed up one of them. Not noticeable when they are on the car, but I know it's there. I thought I was being smart by using a soft brush wheel on a dremel. Wasn't that soft.

Anyway, I only paid $25 and I would just like to get my money back and help out a fellow FEP member that doesn't want to spend $90 on a perfect set. Tabs are perfect.

If I could get $35 to cover shipping and cost of vinyl Marchal stickers that would be cool. I'll also include an extra set of stickers in case someone wants to put one more coat of paint on the covers.

Covers are in Fort Lauderdale, Fl - $35 shipped.

How about starting a thread on the restoration process that you used?

When I do another set I can do a new thread. But I'm thinking there are better qualified members on here that would do it a lot better than I.

In a nut shell, I used a fine sanding block, fine wire brush, scotch brite #1 scuff pad (07747) and rustoleum trim and bumper paint #260861 charcoal gray

Sanded off the real dry plastic with the sanding block, used the brush for in between the Marchal logo, then gave a first coat, let dry, scuffed with pad, painted again, scuffed again, and painted again. They could ave used one more scuffing and painting.
The coats of paint were light not heavy.
