    I have an 86 tbird, and i much prefer the older body style. I have owned 4 87 tbirds though.

    If it were local id pick it up just for the suspension and 3.73 8.8 locker with quad shocks.

    I think the styling on Turbo Coupes (both the earlier and later styles) has aged very well.

    I like both body styles but, I prefer the 85-88 styles over the 83-84's. I'm not a fan of chrome on the newer cars (I know though those are old now). I kinda lean towards the 85-86 because of less electronics to deal with (ABS and Ride Control).

    On a side note, I could use the transmission out of the 88 TC above for my 87. Mine took a crap on me and I'd like to keep it original, even though I do have all the parts to change it over to a 5 speed.
