Now I need to decide if I go with a set of these, or the used ones that need some repair and painting.
I think they are priced lower than I would expect. $30 a piece for the smaller ones and $80 for the bigs ones comes to $400. I say bargain if they look good and last.

When I saw this post, I thought "how much might they cost as a full set." The first number which came to mind was $500. Then my second thought was, $500 is too low, I think $700 is more like it. So I think they are very inexpensive.
We've had this discussion many times over the years about how difficult it is to get parts reproduced, as the parties involved need to make money.
I'm interested in more reports from people who have bought them (or will in the future).

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and that is fine. But honestly IMHO this is the same opinion that is held by many Fox owners and part of the reason why so few original parts are reproduced. Not bashing anyone here as I can be just as guilty as the next guy, but as a whole the Fox Body owners are bargain shoppers and often are unwilling or unable to pay decent or reasonable prices for quality parts and reproductions.
IMHO opinion the price is perfectly reasonable. Would I like the set to be cheaper . . . Sure! But as mentioned already the door moldings are around $75/80 a side so that leaves $180/200 left for the other 8 pieces. That breaks down to $22.50/25 per piece which seems very reasonable to me.
I have a very good set of OEM moldings for my 82 GT, but I may seriously consider using the reproduction kit my 79 PC when I get around to repainting that car.

I agree with wraithracing, very reasonably priced, I'm getting a full set before the price does go up.
Price seems more than fair to me.

It's nice that they are available, price seems fair. I ended up piecing a full set together of used moldings for my 82 and I just installed them over the last few weeks.
So who's going to be the first guinea pig and order a set and evaluate them for the FEP community?

Folks I call this "a game changer".
Now all the unmentioned 83 convertible needs are the seatbelt guides. Then, life will be complete.

$350 for a complete set of moldings? And people are complaining they're expensive? Sheesh... that's dirt cheap! There's a dealer in AZ with p/n D9ZZ 6120938-DZ, right door molding in black/argent, and they want $160 for just one molding! Do the math, people!

Nice to know they are available and at a fair cost.
Wonder if they of decent quality so as not to cheapen the car or look funny to people that know.
Add 50 or so for vinyl pin striping.
An easy way to match the 1/8-1/4-1/8 stripe width, dual stripe pattern, using vinyl pinstripe tape.
First layer= 1/2" wide color stripe.
Add a centered 1/4" black overlay tape stripe for 'dual' look and better chance of everything looking parallel straight.
3M offers reflective stripe tape with choice of color and size.
1/2" red reflective by itself really 'pops' at night, especially on a dark colored car. Good for safety too.
Adding the black center stripe overlay (for the faux dual stripe) 'tones down' the overall look.
Am going to use reflective black center on the side molding redo.
Regular none reflect tapes on the front bumper of car so as not to oncoming vehicles.
Solid reflect red with non reflect black on back bumper.

This is the email I got from foxmustangresto.
This kit includes all 10 soft urethane body-side moldings that go from the front bumper cover all the way to the rear bumper cover. They come with double-sided tape already installed for peel & stick application. Note: you will need to apply your own colored pinstripes.
$249.95
Buy them immediately and make sure you have a copy of the email to use to guarantee the pricing since these are actual screen captures from their website right now!
10 Piece Kit $349.95
6 Piece Kit $249.95
It appears whom ever emailed you quoted you the 6 piece kit and not the 10 piece kit. Good Luck!

Hmm, yeah my email from Fox resto said $249 for the 10pc set. They also had the pricing messed up when they released the 82GT hood emblem saying it was $35 is but is actually $69 They sold it at $59 for the confusion IIRC.

For what it's worth, Fox Resto is all of 4 people. Matt and Jen and a couple helpers. They are good people and perhaps a bit overwhelmed. Not to make excuses but just simply provide an explanation. It's not some giant corporation with a vast warehouse and unlimited resources.
