Default New Member & Recent Purchaser of 1985 GT

    Hey guys,

I've been watching this forum for sometime and just purchased the car discussed in this thread:

Looking forward to getting to know some of you. In the future I'm hoping to build a collection of nice Mustangs, and I really like the Fox cars. Car #1 isn't super low miles but I like the car and won't be afraid to drive it a little while owning it. Thanks!

    Welcome. Congrats!

Just curious, were you thinking of selling it again. I noticed it was on ebay last week then the week before. Both auctions ended early.

I was the second person who hit the BIN. The seller said the first guy who hit the BIN didn't leave the deposit in enough time so he re-listed it. I may sell the car eventually, but will probably keep it a little. I wasn't in love with the color, and still really aren't, but the car is super clean and has some tasteful mods. I was really looking for a black, grey, or blue car but couldn't pass this one up.

That's a great 85! I hear you about the black with grey but look before you sell that one. It's tough finding a clean 85 out there.

    Congrats again!

Thanks man. Yep, it's REALLY tough to find clean 5SPD, hatchback 85-93 Mustangs right now. It seems 80% of the cars on the low-mileage market are convertibles and I'm not a convertible guy. I finally got tired of looking for the "perfect color" and just pulled the trigger on this one. Who knows, maybe the color will grow on me a little!

Keep me in mind if the color doesn't grow on you and you decide to sell.
Maybe it'll have to get put back in the garage a 2nd time around
