Interesting. Car is pretty good. Maybe not as good as the seller portrays it, or the price suggests. Not the typical Craigslist ad .... lots of pics, and a lengthy write-up, though the write-up is short on facts and long on sales pitch. I of course see a car like this as preservation/ restoration material, the seller is all about convincing someone it is a perfect starting point for a "coupe build" (which, I suppose, is its most likely future).

1981 Mustang Coupe - 5.0/5-speed from Indiana, at the body shop getting a little love...still...
1982 Mustang Coupe - One of the first 10 log-booked American Sedan (A/S) cars built in the early 1990's. Topeka World Challenge Top 10 finisher, 1993 and 1994. Under-going retestification.
1982 Mustang GT - Something out of the ordinary.
Quite the sales pitch. Made me think of Kevin Nealon's "Subliminal Man" routine...
...The car has no back story, bought it from an old gentleman after striking up a conversation /elder abuse/.
This is a running, driving 4 cyl 5 speed car /non-operational/ with bright yellow paint and caramel interior /brown/.
The engine and drive train have never been tampered with /original oil/. The interior is in amazing shape /ripped seats/ and ready for
all climates /no weather stripping/. All documentation for an out of state sale is in order /have fun trying to sue/.
Call it a $6000 dollar investment property /delusional/.
That is funny. Well done. Overpriced and oversold. No AC, 4 cylinder, high miles, needs work, interior, weatherstripping, paint likely so-so. Ok buy at $2500 or less given the work needed and current condition.
Let's talk about reality...6k I don't see that. A buddy out in San fran bought a Beautiful 84 coupe for way less & in far superior condition.
