    Default Satin black paint job

I saw a killer stain black fox today, I am tossing around the idea of painting my vert satin black. This would be my first full car paint job I have have primed cars but never done a paint job. Is satin a pretty forgiving? The mustang body is pretty straight for the most part. I am just kicking the idea around.

Satin black always looks good on "Other People's Cars"!

In a couple of years the satin black look will be like the Pastel color look on street rods in the 1990's.

    On the way OUT!

Why not "Wrap It" instead that way you CAN easily go back to what you started with when the satin look becomes so out of date!

And what condition does a wrap leave a paint job in once it is removed?

I personally don't like matte paint jobs. A buddy had a matte black paint job on his Camaro, can't wax it, scratches are nearly impossible to get rid of and after 2 years he had to re-paint as it faded quickly.

The same condition the paint was in when the wrap was installed.

As much as I hate to say, this sounds like a job for Plastiderp. It's fairly easy to apply and you can remove it (so they say) when you get tired of it.

    +1 on plastidip.

they make all kinds of crazy colors and protective top coats for it now too. Simple removal, paint unaffected.
