Default 8.8 & Dual Exhaust Conversion Center Mount Brake Hose Problem

So, I've seen countless threads about this. Guys want to convert an early Fox to 8.8 with dual exhaust, and want to use the 8.8 style brake lines on the axle housing. Well, the problem always was that from the factory, Mustangs with dual exhaust and 8.8 used this stupid, impossible to find banjo adapter fitting where the brake hose attached to the center of the body. ONLY Ford used this, ONLY on the '86-95 Mustang, NO ONE made it in the aftermarket, and it was even impossible to cobble something together that would do the same job the same way. So, if you wanted one, your only option was to find someone parting a car out.

Until now. LMR is making and selling them! This is a HUGE deal for anyone wanting to make this conversion!

Anyway, I just found out about this, and thought I'd share. Now, if we could just get them to make the LTD wagon gas tank sending unit...

That's the one!! Looks just like my 94. It makes things so much easier to have the scrap vehicle sitting right there. I have saved hundreds of clams and countless hours of searching yards. By the way my neighbors LOVE me!

The 85 5.0 Stangs also have those. Also, there is a difference in length for the 85's for the part that mounts on the 8.8.

Thank you for bringing this up.
I am looking for parts to convert my 84 with 7.5 rear.
I will try to emulate the 85 mustang the only year with dual tails and 7.5 rear. I just dont know which parts to buy. This is a start though.

What part should I consider for the flex line to rear?
What hardline part(s) on 7.5 housing are needed?
What part(s) for the hardline back to the booster?

    Thnks for your insights

IT'S ABOUT TIME! That's gonna cut into the Ebay sellers profits. I think the avg. going rate for that piece was $75+ and I was one that had to go that pricey route.

Now if we could just convince the losers at Enkei to reproduce their 92 center caps.....
