    Default Wheels specs

What size wheels will fit on an 85 converted to sn95 cobra brakes.? I want to run 17". What offset? What widths front and rear? Also, what is the 5-lug bolt pattern, bore size, and are they hub or lug centric? Any suggestions on lightweight wheels or pics installed on car. I want to run staggered setup.

Generally a 9" front wheel with Fox length front control arms is as wide as you can fit up front without flares or major fender modifications. The rear can swallow a 10" wheel if you are generally willing to use a BFH for clearance on the inner fender wells depending on offset, ride height, etc. and roll the fender lips. Anything bigger than that will require tubbing, or flares.

Generally a 24mm offset with a 9" wheel or a 30mm offset on an 8" wheel fits up front. Actual fitment in regards to strut, wheel lip, etc. will vary depending on which SN95 spindles, tires, alignment, ride height, etc.

Same is true for the rear running the SN95 (94-98 length axles, SVO length, or Turbo Coupe length axles. Fox offsets work just fine when running the Fox length axles out back.

    All Fox and SN95 wheels are hubcentric. The SN95 bolt pattern is 5 X 4.5" or 5 X 114.3mm.

If the car is a street car that will get driven often, then I recommend running a square setup rather than staggered that way you can rotate all 4 tires. Staggered looks cool, but you will generally get fewer miles from your tires, due to the inability to rotate. If just the occasional or weekend cruiser then not as big a deal.
