Hi, I know that there is probably a thread pertaining to this, but I'M lazy. Here it goes, my lenses were cracked on my fog lights and I found a decent set of lenses on e-bay. The problem is, is that when I started to wipe them down to start the cerium oxide polish, one of them shattered in my hand. There was no pressure or heat applied to it, I was just wiping the inside ridges down and pop! Has this happened to anybody before and is there a way to to safely polish out small pitting without breaking them. Right now I'm too scared to touch the other one for fear of breaking it. I have ordered another set and they do not look like they're pitted at all. but I would like to keep a good lens as a spare. Thanks.
