    Default Shorter PCV valve?

I bought replacement oil caps for my valve covers on my 84 carb 5.0. They fit good the problem is they're a little taller and the PCV valve is hitting the air cleaner inlet on the drivers side. Does anyone know of a shorter PCV valve that fits our oil cap grommets? Single inlet is fine. The top tube is capped off on the PCV valve anyway because my emissions equipment is gone.

    thanks

Did you check autozone? Mine has a rack with about 6 style of pcv. I was just there yesterday buying a grommet.

Where did you get the caps? They look good

They come with grommets and washers, but you need to order the pcv grommet for the mustang

Those oil caps look taller than my factory caps. That might be part of your problem.

I will prob get tarred and feathered but here goes

AC Delco line has a few that may work for your scenario or even look at pre emission era ones

    Good luck

Pre emission doesn't make sense cause it's emission component I mean something that doesn't have a vac line coming off the top running to something else

If the grommet is the same size, the Purolator PV140 looks like it'll fit better. It's cataloged as a PCV valve for a 1985 CFI 5.0 car.
